[NEWS] 140506 Jaejoong and Siwan's drama “Triangle” leads ratings on its premiere day

The new season of drama is coming and the competition is heating up between JYJ’s Jaejoong’s new drama “Triangle” and Lee Jong Suk’s “Doctor Stranger”. The two dramas premièred at the same time yesterday.

It was “Triangle” which topped the rating on its first day of broadcast by recording 8.9% while “Doctor Stranger” followed closely behind at 8.6%. The currently airing drama “Big Man” is at the last position with 8.0%.

Although “Triangle” started off ahead in ratings, it suffered a dramatic drop of ratings compared to its predecessor “Empress Ki”, which recorded 28.7% for its final episode. However, since it is still only the beginning, some changes in the ratings are expected.

“Triangle” tells the story of three brothers who are separated for 20 years and reunited in difficult circumstances. The drama stars Lee Bum Soo, Jaejoong, and Im Si Wan as the three brothers, while Oh Yeon Soo and Baek Jin Hee complete the love story of the siblings.

The drama airs every Monday and Thursday on MBC at 10 p.m.
