It has been eight days since the day of the Sewol Ferry accident and Korea is still in the mourning period for the capsized ferry. An internet campaign has been spreading across the social network services, which symbolizes in a yellow ribbon image. Many stars have joined the good cause, including JYJ’s Jaejoong.
Jaejoong changed the profile pictures of his social network accounts by the picture of yellow ribbon, which also includes a message in Korean: “One Small Movement, Big Miracle”. He changed the pictures on his Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.
The “Yellow Ribbon” campaign was started by a student art club and it has spread across popular network services with many Koreans and public figures spreading the image through their accounts.
Meanwhile, Jaejoong’s upcoming drama, “Triangle”, is scheduled to air its first episode on May 5 at 10 p.m. KST, as the replacement for Empress Ki.
